Those who knew Robert Fish probably knew about his remarkable storytelling. He was a master at writing and delivering stories of all kinds.
For years he produced monthly cassette tapes called “Fish Tales.” They were designed for commuters – back when cars had cassette tape players.
To me, his best ever was “First Kiss.” It was a true story about his adolescence with all the adventure, fear, and excitement this first love had for him.
I have reproduced it here as an MP3 file you can play with iTunes. I urge you to listen to it. It is world-class storytelling. Warning: it may make you sad to realize what a wise soul we have lost.
