Dropping Mary off at SFO. Dozens of cars jockeying for a spot at the curb. Lots of uniformed officers arm waving and blowing whistles, “Move it. Keep going.” Pulling away from the curb, I slowed for a moment, looked at one of them and said, “You do important work. As always well said indeed! I’ve been saying since November 20 23 when a little movie on Netflix came out called “ leave the world behind” this is all playing out… and 100% agree it’s not going to end well
it’s true, our democracy is in peril core deep….it is being torn down by a ‘domestic’ enemy….no one knows the future, but in a broad comprehension of life deceit, lies, cruelty, a blatant disregard for our justice system, a false sense of empowerment, enriching the wealthy at the expense of the poor, cannot be sustained…..how long it will take to restore a healthy balance we do not know, but balance will return….nature, which we are a part of, is always seeking harmony, and often it takes ‘tough love’ to move in that direction…our interaction with this process is essential….we must resist darkness always, nourish brightness…time is our ally, but we must stand up and be counted…the gauntlet has been thrown down, and this challenge is ours to meet…the sooner we meet it the better….the time is now…
