Rick’s Birthday Bash
On Sunday, May 19, 2024 my wife, Mary McGlynn, threw a birthday bash for me (my actual birthday was in March… but never mind.) About a hundred people joined us at the Grand Bay Hotel (old Sofitel) in Redwood City. Now, I’m not big on all this birthday stuff, but you only turn 85 once, so what the hell?
Old friends. Good food. Wonderful reflections by people who have known me for a while…and, fun for me, a slide / video presentation about my new book Photographic Reflections.
The stories behind this great book are amazing and needed to be told. I am now editing a video of my presentation. It will be up on this site shortly.
