iPhone Photography
The best camera is the one you have with you. I now use my iPhone camera exclusively. My big honking Nikon stays on the shelf. The small outstanding camera in my pocket allows for spur-of-the-moment improv photography. Ordinary shots are everywhere.

Just wonderful, artistic, and unique.”– Melinda Henning
“It really flows and holds together and becomes one unified summary of a vibrant life, lived to the full—illustrated with words and photos that make it totally unique. Thank you for the gift of these insights. It cheers me to peruse it.
A+ (this is going on your permanent record!)”
– Brigitte Carnochan, Photographer
“Photographic Reflections is inspirational, beautifully done. It brings together so many people and past events to life. I shall cherish it.”
– Anna G. Eshoo, Member of Congress
“A book is a resting place for the memories of people who have lived before. A way for the memory to stay fixed after the soul has traveled on.”
– Anthony Doerr

Photos provide a continual memory to many of the special and not so special occasions in our lives, and you have captured so many–and we all love your sharing them with us. Thank you!
My check is on the way dear Rick. Hello to dear Mary.

Nothing like iPhone photography. Great fun!
ah, you have captured time, rick…. your personal seen beauty along the way enriches us all….why not have fun as our world spins in turmoil and grief….there is room for everything in a life, and you are making it happen…..reading and re-reading your volume brings it all back, the beauty and the other….bravo!
I agree with you that the camera you have with you is the best. I never invested in expensive cameras, but the only reason to buy a new iPhone is for the camera upgrade.
When I took Dewitt Jones and Lynette Shepherd’s iPhone photography class 5 years ago, it changed my life. He taught us so many techniques and tools on the phone that really upped my photo game. Now when I travel, I delight at snapping pics of things I find interesting. Forty-two of them have made it into my book, “Life Is a Self-Designed, Personal Growth Seminar.”
