All the cars were off the street under threat of “being towed at owner’s expense.” About noon, this huge, thundering truck came rolling down the street. A team of six men got to work spreading “slurry” evenly up the street.
When they stopped momentarily, our neighbor, Lisa May, offered them lemonade.
I whipped out my iPhone and videotaped the whole operation:
That appeared to be the slurry with the fringe on top.
