The gentle woman you called “Honey”
Your dad we all called “Sir.”
You have a talent Rick
for speech, the pen, and photo.
From whence it came?
Perhaps wrapped in a mother’s love,
encouragement without criticism
acceptance begetting courage
Those talents
are the music within you.
