I’m pleased to share this video interview with Terry Garthwaite, founder of a 70s rock group called The Joy of Cooking. Terry’s musical career has evolved through folk music, rock, and spiritual songs done in large groups. Like Pete Seeger, Terry prizes participation. Everyone joins in.
I think you’ll find her candor and historical perspective engaging. We grew up together on the same street in Berkeley. She feels like the sister I never had.

Terry is lovely and relaxed, as ever, here. I was moved.
