Hi Rick, I like the top picture and the fourth one down especially. The first one is of the place and the fourth one is quite abstract. Nice juxtaposition. XO, Colleen
The Denver Botanic Garden had a large Chihuly show that was very impressive and very well attended. We went once during daylight hours and once after dark. I especially loved seeing the glass sculptures at night with special lighting doing its magic.
Chihuly and his (and his acolytes’) work have always amazed me, from both technical and artistic standpoints,
And it obviously amazes lots of others too. The work seems to be everywhere, even Spokane and Madison.
Madison is not too surprising. The Art Department at UW-Madison was the first in the US (and maybe the world) to have a division devoted to glass art. Chihuly got his start there, and he has generously returned the favor many times.
Hi Rick,
I was just at the Chihuly gardens this week and as a collector of art glass, was in heaven. His work is incredible. It was wonderful to see your photos. I also got to see the eclipse – now I understand why people would panic. I was looking around for a goat to sacrifice right quick…..
See you soon!
Really nice pic’s of Seattle – Chihuly Garden Images. The building exterior one is amazing….the contour and lighting – so good!!

The photos of Chihuly Garden are amazing! The photo of the exterior is positively sensual!
Was just in new York, saw chihuly pieces in the Bronx gardens. They are spectacular! Took many photos. Why
The b&w?
