The Secret Meaning of Sports
It’s All About Sperm and Egg. The ball (sperm, penis) is trying to get in the hole (egg, vagina). In 10th grade biology I heard about how hard it is for the poor little sperm to get to the egg. Uphill battle.
Google says,
Sperm fight against a hostile female reproductive environment, including acidic vaginal pH, thick mucus barriers, and immune system white blood cells, to reach the egg. Out of millions, only a few hundred survive to reach the fallopian tube,where they must pierce the egg’s outer layer, the zona pellucida, using enzymes.
Like in biology, the sperm (ball) has to get through a lot of resistance to score. Must be a survival technique so that only the strongest reproduce. Sometimes the “sperm” that is fighting to score (fertilize the egg) is a ball, or a puck – or, sometimes it is human (baseball).
Basketball: ball in the hoop
Football: ball in the end-zone
Baseball: the runner (sperm) slides into homebase to score
Hockey: puck (rhymes with…. ) into the net
Golf: ball into the hole, past the sand traps
Soccer: ball into the net
Marksmanship: put the bullet in bullseye.
In sum, think about this the next time you cheer as Steph Curry sinks a 3 pointer from 50 feet. What is the symbolism?
Ellen Davis, a friend from Berkeley high, noted that after she heard about this theory, she cheered the Warriors to a narrow win… but confessed, alas, she did not have an orgasm. Oh well…

Can you imagine FDR (or Eleanor) speaking that way about the working classes? Never in a million years. FDR was elected to four terms.
When I hear the Dems crow, “We’re on your side,” I think, Oh, bullshit. Prove it. Then they say, “You are voting against your own self-interest.” Ha. Again, you see how stupid you are?
